Another weekend over...
Well, we had a pretty good weekend. Friday night was family dinner night, so Todd, Angela and the boys came over. We had the opportunity to take a picture of the 4 little cousins together, but, as usual, the camera I was using was not working and, well another photo-op was missed. Uncle Todd got a few good ones on his camera. Maybe he can email them to me???
Saturday was party day. Sandi had a kareoke party in honour of Cameron's departing from the city and my birthday (a week early). We had a great time. Monica was the life of the party, much to my surprise. I was figuring I would be taking her home to bed early, but she was having way too much fun. I think Monica may have to form her own Cameron fan club. Thanks, again, to Cameron and Sandi. Next time, Cameron, I'll make sure to give you your present early so you can buy my present with it.
This morning, ugh, I had to be out of the door and at the church for 9am. Now, being that we are always up by 7am, you wouldn't think that this would be a problem. Well, it's hard to get myself and Monica organized in a 2 hour time frame, but I did it. Thanks to Grammy and Grampa for watching baby girl, while I went to sing at mass. Big thanks for taking on the challenge of feeding Monica her cereal. It's literally like being in the line of fire.
And so, on to another new week. We don't have much planned. I head into work on Wednesday for my regular check-up and cleaning, and to have a filling replaced. Yippee!! It's all fine and good until you're the one stuck in that ruddy dental chair. Ah well, what goes around, comes around.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Enjoy your week!

I must admit, my rendition of GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN, well was not anywhere near FUN. Denise seemed stunned, and I could hear her laughing in the other room, upstairs, but it's probably cause someone said something funny(even though she was the only one upstairs...uh)...but we did sing a few CARPENTERS songs...like We've Only Just Begun, Rainy Days and Mondays, I Won't Last A Day Without You, I Need TO Be In Love, There's A Kind of Hush, Sing, Goodbye To Love, and Close To You among others...but we had a blast...even, Denise sang a long to it...we also sang DANCING QUEEN by Abba...
Oh Denise forgot to mention, we just started up her ABBA collection...so if anyone wants to get Denise something for her ABBA collection(we got her ABBA:THE CONCERT DVD, ABBA GOLD, and ABBA:SUPERTROUPER albums)...hint hint(no, the hint is not for me, but for Denise...hey, I just thought of something...I didn't get DENISE anything on the CARPENTERS...she's a big fan of angel song bird Karen Carpenter...as I am a bit of a fan of them too...
