...but, I'm giving this whirl, anyway. I'm gonna try, emphasis on
try, to post Monica's Christmas portrait with Santa and her cousins. It actually turned out quite good...especially if you bare in mind that not even a second after this shot was taken, both Monica and Isaac lost it! I doubt either of them will be sitting on this jolly fellow's lap again, anytime soon.
Well, I think we're pretty much ready for Christmas. We only have a couple more little gifts to pick up, which is good. I greatly dislike Christmas shopping this close to Christmas. Thankfully, we got a head start this year. Now, with a blizzard in full swing outside, it's beginning to feel and look a lot like Christmas. Yup, I'm humming that tune right now.
Other than that, we, or I guess I am, looking forward to singing at midnight mass on Christmas eve/morning. Monica will stay at home with "Bumpa". I'm hoping to get her to sleep, soundly, before mass so she will get a good night's sleep, but since she has never successfully slept without me by her side, I'm guessing she will be awake. Bumpa will have to have a lot of tricks up his sleeves to keep her rolling until I get back home.
So, with that, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year! Here's hoping I can get this picture up tonight. If not, it will have to be done on Grammy and Bumpa's computer...which we all know, I will never get around to doing!
