Now that I have a minute...
We'll bring that down to a few seconds.
Monica is happily watching "Zooboomafoo", but the distractions, still, do not last long with her. I remember people saying, "Just wait until she's a year old and walking, then she'll entertain herself more...". I'm sure these people have never encountered a "Monica". Oh well, she's still the most wonderful part of my day, even if that day is in constant fast forward.
So, what's new? Well, I'm still struggling to find time to put more pictures up here. Not having the picture program on my home computer really makes it difficult. Also, the camera is not working well, and I just haven't found the time to explore it's problems. It may be just that it needs new batteries, but, honestly, when I do get a moment, the camera is never at the top of my list of things to get done.
Anyway, since I don't think I will be posting pictures before Christmas...I can hear the "boos"...I'll at least let everyone know that Andy was right (now that's a phrase I rarely get a chance to use...:P). Monica was "Winnie the Pooh" for Halloween. My New Year's resolution will be to update this blog more often. Complete with pictures.
Other than that, Monica is really good at walking (frontwards and backwards). She spins, dances, jumps, walks with her hands clasped behind her back and has perfected the art of yelling "MUM!!" Sometimes I get the nice, sweet "mum, mum, mum..." as she follows me around the house, but mostly I hear it in the form of a very determined scream.
I'm sure I have more interesting stuff to post, but I can never think of any of it when I actually sit at the computer. Anyway, Monica is threatening to shut off the computer, so I'll say "so long". He, he, he...now she's walking around the room with her hands clasped behind her back as though she's conducting an inspection.
As I shared with Jennelle, this morning, I don't send out Christmas cards...so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! Just in case I don't update, again, before Christmas!
